Get your birds right

We have a Service Berry tree in our back yard. The birds have begun to eat the berries now that the berries are ripening.

I keep telling everyone that the birds are female Cardinals. But I've been told they are Cedar Wax Wing birds. Just goes to show you how much I know about birds. Not very much.

  1. I have never heard of a 'Service Berry tree' but I do agree the birds are Cedar wax wings. We used to attract them when we had a choke cherry tree in our yard. Now that the tree is no longer so the beautiful cedar wax wings have not returned. We do however enjoy many Cardinals. Great pictures, thanks for your blog. I always appreciate your posts.
